my question is, :- would this setup with a nur spec s be louder than a nur spec r ( centre and rear ). due to the nur spec r having a resonator in the centre pipe.

any ideas peeps.

never thought mate, keep an eye on this place..you can get a full (used) nur spec r system for almost the same price as a new nur spec s backbox

I had mine from Revolution, came direct from Blitz UK.

If Keith can't get you one it means there's none in the country unless it's shelf stock.

Thumbs up

The Nur specR in my view is the best sounding exhaust for a scoob, I had one on my old classic WRX with no cats and boy was it loud, no joke, it changed the barometric pressure in the valley where I live, when the wife used it for work when coming home I could feel the change in the air before I could hear her over a mile away. I've got a TSL firestorm system on now, and it sounds great, loud, but not in the league of the Blitz. It's funny though, you know it's stupidly loud but you tolerate it as every time you hear it it just makes you smile, and makes pedestrians run for cover especially when booting it

Go for it, I will again one day....

Yes, i know what you mean about the full Spec R system, i had one on my old Version 4 STI RA, christ it was deep vien! I have full 3" turbo back straight through Cobra on my 95 STI, and i cant believe how much it is like the Blitz, both on standard un-equal headers

I had the bung on mine, and it made it more raspy on track which in turn upped the db level, after me fitting it to make less noisey

Like all folk have said before me, use the bung as a paper weight or door stop

well, the gasket sealant works a treat in stopping it rattle, cool, BUT, how bloody quiet is it now !!!! its gone from 1 extreme to the other, without baffle, uber loud, with baffle, uber uber quiet, its embarrasing !!!!!!!

looks like its staying out and will put the bung in for long journeys, cant have it that quiet although on full chat at 7k it does sound sweet with baffle in
