Default How long do parts last?

I've had a 2004 WRX since new,had it serviced regularly and its now done 42000 miles. Can anyone tell me how long bits like clutch, exhaust etc last and is there a right time to sell before I spend loads for someone elses benefit.

Check the service schedule for "the big one"....

But buyers aren't daft, dealers may slip up tho'....

WRX clutch and exhaust are pretty damn strong, should see you through another 200K miles easily, with conservative driving. Picking a 'right time' to sell with parts-wear specifically in mind is a pretty bizarre approach to car ownership, IMHO.

Tell that to my mate who's just laid out £1500 to get the Jag he bought a year ago through an MOT,the stealer wanted £4500 BTW!
Good news if the parts last 200k coz I really don't want to sell.
