Has anyone on here ever taken this out before? is it even available?

I have a workshop I use for hobby purposes and I know have several thousand pounds worth of tools and equiptment that I would like to insure but I really dont know how to go about it.. Its not part of my house or even on my property so think I can include it on any contents insurance

 

Can't offer any advice, unfortunately, but I'd be interested in something similar...

All the tools quickly add up to jaw-dropping amounts

 

I started adding it all up and I realised how pissed off I'd be if it all went walk abouts

 

theres a company that run along side snap-on tools called livelyhood that insures tools & tool storage from about £8 a month.

wont tell you how much tools i have as its far too much lol

can you not add it to your household insurance?

I have got extended external cover to cover things such as push bike's, BBQ etc etc and a the very small collection of tools that i have. whilst this cover is fairly restrictive and only covers me upto £1500, thats more than enough to cover everything i have.

the cost of this cover is around £2 a month.

May be worth giving them a call.

 

Nope because my workshop isnt on my property
