Scooby sold.
Decided to sell my 02 Import WRX Wagon after 5 1/2 years of ownership.
Been a great car and amazingly reliable but decided it was time for a change. I'll always have fond memories of the car and will not discount the possibility of owning another one in the future.
It's still a great car and turns heads, and anyone who was at the NBO 2006 might remember it won the Best New Age Impreza category - a very proud moment! Probably because it's an import but I've never seen another White Bugeye Wagon.
Decided to go for a Civic 2.2 i-CDTi ES which has 140BHP as standard and makes 192BHP (and loads more torques) with a fairly cheap remap. That's plenty for me now, as long as it's got the legs to overtake the plodders I'm happy
Plus I use my bike most the year so only do around 3-4K in a car. My wife will use it more than me to help keep the mileage down on her new Golf as she does around 15-16K/year. I wish I could do without a car altogether but it's just not possible.
For anyone interested after some haggling I got £3250 px allowance which I thought was very good.
Regards,
Rob.
