Default How to remove rear view mirror on a classic?

Ages ago there was a thread about classic impreza's having a vibrating rear view mirror and how to fix it. Well, now my mirror is wobbling all over, and its moving from where its mounted to the roof of the car.

Problem is that I don't know how to get the plastic cover off from where its mounted. Anyone got any pointers, as for some reason the search facility cannot find the old thread

Failing anyone knowing how to remove the bit of plastic, does anyone have a link or a copy of the Classic Impreza guide. This listed all sorts of useful things, one of which was this mirror fix.

Can't find that thread but I do remember it being on Scoobypedia. Also a similar bit of advice on here, if it's any use? Apparently it should just be clipped on - screwdriver and a bit of leverage type jobbie (not that I've tried myself!).
