Impressive ..... and happens many times a second - makes you wonder how it can do that for 100,000 miles +

I've often though this - when you work out how many times all the parts of the engine are moving per second, and how many different things are happening, it makes you think it shouldn't really work and its amazing that engines last as long as they do without just self destructing !
