Strictly it can't be an "RA" IMHO. Subaru dopped the "RA" after the abysmal Bugeye "RA" which failed to make a dent in the equivalent EVO. At this stage the RA stood for "Race Altered".

The Lightweight version was launched as the "Spec c" (the C stood for Competition)....the RA appeared again on later models and stood for "Record attempt" (at the 'Ring)..........but always following on from Spec C.

This is how I read it anyway LOL

Phill

Nice car (yours)

The car in Q does have a grey interior but someone has colour coded the centre console.......and it has the standard STi Wheels (with the difficult to clean dimples in the rims LOL)

Looks like a pretty mixed up Blob STi which someone has chopped in a roof vent

Agree, that is one mixed up FrankinBlob .

Cheers bud. See the link below, this is how my old Blobeye looked when I sold it to Ryan Fong, he has since sold it.

That was a nice scoob been pointing it out to a few people, though the 2 the Pete@Prosport imported brand new in 2004 were stunning
Interestingly, people think they are based on a Spec C because of the roof vent

Was a very nice car Tony. Just couldn't get away with how smooth it drove TBH. Was pushing a nice bit of BHP out but was a bit refined for me, hence the type R root. Got a very nice V4 type R now. Bit of a handful but great fun.

Yes they feel more like a V6 engine than a turbocharged engine due to the power delivery, great having power on tap from 1500rpm though better than my V5 type R tbh, shame you still didnt have that Limited, could have done a straight swap for my Type R as the twin scroll cars are the only thing I would swap her for now
