Import94WRX

Hi All,

I have a 94 WRX import, i have just had a front mount fitted to it and now im loosing boost and when it does boost it surges up and down , sometimes boost just cuts out.. i have no air leaks that has been checked.. There is one thing i have noticed the boost solinoid is contantly making a ticking noise is this normal ? i have cleaned it out but still the same ? Can anyone help please as it was runing perfect until i put the front mount on.

Im only running 0.8 - 1.0 bar of boost and it was perfect before.

list of mods are ...

Full de cat, pipercross induction kit, walbro fuel pump, td05 turbo and now the front mount.

all pipes are on and tight .... they have been checked and re checked ..

also tried new grade 7 spark plugs but still the same..

Is it possible its the boost solinoid ?

what pressure did it run and whats it running now?

It was running 1 Bar , now it boosts to about 0.7 bar then looses power then surges then drops completely

must be an air leak in the pipes somewhere. or intercooler leaking maybe??

check all vac lines as well.

did y ou fit it yourself?
