What gear linkage for a classic??
Evening all, i am looking to change the gear linkage in my99 uk2ooo and i have found 2 so far, one from import wrx/sti and the other from a type r. what i would like to know is- whats the difference between the 2 and which one would offer a more shorter, precise and better feel when going through the range??

think they r both the same mate. i got a sti linkage from a1 subaru breakers for my uk classic and it was excellent, and my v3 sti obviously had the sti quickshift too and they are very good, think the type r uses the same linkage just different gearing. u can get one for about £50 second hand. its a cheap and very worthwhile mod makes the car nicer to drive imo.
