Default smoke from scoop, help please !

hi all, right then , just had a scooby last week, its a mark one import. all been fine, but after a drive out yesterday ( didnt thrash it..too many speed bumps!) i reversed on the drive and on sitting idle smoke bellowed out from under the bonnet.
popped bonnet to look , it smells like oil burning and the smoke appears to be coming from the turbo side. cant see a leak. Doesnt happen on driving ...took it round the block today was fine, but sit it on idle when its warm and there it is, thick smoke !

any ideas????

Rocker cover gasket, normally you will not see a puddle on the floor as it drips onto the exhaust and gets burnt off and scares the crap out of you because you can see a lot of smoke as it gets burnt off.

I agree that it sounds like a cam cover gasket. It's quite common and drips onto the manifold as mentioned above & it's not the end of the earth Hopefully you get it sorted out soon
