i had exactly same problem, turned out to be head gasket
not saying yours is, i was advised to remove pipe from turbo and fill with a funnel, also remove pipe from header tank to radiator (at the radiator end)and fill until you see coolant coming from the radiator. pop pipes back on and your done.
i tried this, didnt solve it, replaced header tank cap incase it had a weak spring, didnt solve it. was also told it could be blocked or cracked radiator.
again had it flow tested, no leaks or blockages.
try all the above and see if it helps.
i have been told that if none of the above is the cause and there is no airlock then the only way air can get into the cooling system is head gasket failure, but i dont know how true this is.
good luck anyway
