Default Most annoying driving habits?

Just reading the thread on driving whilst on the mobile and it occured to me that I spend a lot of my time driving thinking what arseholes are sharing the road with me. Using the 'phone is one that really gets me going. Crapy lane discipline on roundabouts (been cut up several times this week alone) is another one. Slow drivers are quite possibly the worst - how many times have you been stuck behind a driver that does 40mph everywhere? Motorway, 30 limits, dual carriagemway etc. . . . .

1. Mobiles being uses
2. Cut up on roundabouts
3. Slow drivers

Anyone like to add to the list?

Slow drivers are as dangerous as anybody else IMO

People thesedays seem to have a lack of ability to actually read road signs, as you say, wrong lanes at roundabouts, then cutting people up, gets me too wound up thinking about it.

I have always believed that slow driver's are the cause of more road rage than the occasional mad driver.

Speed limits should be the "minimum" speed allowed.

I also believe that speed limits should be reviewed by the government as the technology in brakes, suspension and safety aspects have far exceeded cars when the speed limits were introduced in the late fifties/ early sixties.

An alert driver doing 100mph on motorways is not dangerous anymore imo.

I read somewhere that German autobhans have a better %age of accidents than we have over here on our motorways

6. chav tailgaters
7. junction idiots

I'm forever getting all sorts driving up my chuff expecting me to boot it, especially in 30mph zones. Jog on.....

The worst are people who pull out in front of me at junctions or roundabouts and then at the next junction/roundabout taking all the time in the world to pull out. Why didnt they wait when I was driving past?

Rant over!

People who don't indicate bug the hell out of me.

Also people who refuse to keep to the left lane after overtaking.

Being a hgv driver these 2 quality's bug me the most as its hard to judge what they are going to do next

People who drive at one speed whatever the speed limit.

They either hound you through a 30mph limit... then once you get onto national speed limit carry on at 40 and you think..what was the point?...

or even worse if they actually overtake you in the 30 zone.. then proceed at 50 once back onto national speed limit..

People who drive in the middle/fast lane of the motorway when not overtaking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have all these traffic problems in this country yet 1/3rd of the motorway is mainly empty as people seem to have an affliction to Lane 1

Yet if you go over to the continent people happily only leave the first lane when they need to overtake.

You know the ones, they flash you and give you the coffee bean shake or simlar, telling you to slow down after you have over-taken them, even though it's down to them because they are normally #3's, 4's or 5's and not making prgress.

It's like 'who the **** are you to tell me what to do and when to do it'

People carrier drivers absolute ****s imo whether they are on the motorway or doing the school run (i'm sure they are plenty of good people carrier drivers but the ones i meet are ****s)

People who are quick to pull out for the overtake then go past at about 1mph quicker than the vehicle they are overtaking.
If it's me they are overtaking it pisses me off because I can just see this dark shape out of the corner of my eye and it's unnerving OR if i'm overtaking they just pull out with indicator/mirror usage causing me to slow down and i have traffic up my chuff because they didn't expect me to slow down for some **** nugget.

Agressive "febble" carrier drivers IMHO, I had my doors blown off by one who then had to lock all four wheels to slow down for the speed camera ahead.... DOH !

dunx

P.S. All the tossers who drive through the traffic lights at red near my home, usually as I'm emerging quite legally....

People who frantically pull out of a side road in front of you as if they're in a big hurry and yet then proceed to hold you up by crawling along at 40mph in a 60mph zone.

W@nkers, the lot of them.

I also hate people who speed through road works. How would they feel if we all drove through their working space all day long ?

People who get themselves killed in accidents that result in the closure of the very bit of road that I want to use.

Selfish b@stards!

Most of the above +

People who drive in torrential rain or fog with no lights on.

Do they not notice that 99% of the other cars have their light on or are they trying to save money on electricity?

If you are that stupid, you should have your licence taken away!

Front fogs on and rear fogs in slightest mist also do it for me.

Also, does no-one indicate right on a roundabout anymore?

In order of hatefulness ;

1. Not indicating (doesn't take much to move the plastic stork does it!!)
2. Hogging the fast lane, not moving over or pulling out in front of faster cars
3. Driving with fog lights on
4. On mobile,putting on make up(women obviously),eating...whilst driving
5. Stopping at roundabout's when theres NOTHING there??
6. Driving below posted speed limits (mostly people doing 40mph in a 60mph)
7. Buses not pulling in enough, forcing others to wait so that there still ahead
8. People giving you sh*t after they were in the wrong!(particullarly women)
9. People who block biker's or who are unaware even that they're there
10. Wearing headphones, burkhas, hood's, hat's...whilst driving!

The FUNNIEST driver's on the roads are:-

Typically a young guy under 21 yrs old who for some reason feels that his left shoulder needs to be 6 inches higher than his right one, whilst sitting bolt upright when changing all gears ??....... wtf is all that about ?

horse's on the road, and even after dipping the clutch to cut the exhaust noise, still getting the looks from the riders that I am actually satan, driving in my satan slay. Oh sorry your using the road, making everyone in a 50 meter radius slow down to approx 10-15mph and crawl past, are there not enough country paths/lanes you could use in the countryside...oh there isnt, ok, use the road then.

oh also cyclists who ride next to each other, having a nice chat, blocking the whole lane, in a 30 limit, when theres too much traffic oncoming to overtake, causing a tail back...happened the other day, the frustration still hurts
