obd 1

i have a early classic with what im toled a obd1 socket, does anyone know where this is located?????

There is no OBD1 socket. There are two wires which have to be joined, with the ignition OFF.
On mine, I take off the lower steering column cover cover, and the OBD connectors are found up on the left hand side. They might be taped up to the loom, or just hanging free. You need join the green connector to the black connector.
Turn ON the ignition but DON'T start the engine. The ENGINE light will flash a code in long and short flashes.
When you have read the code or codes, disconnect the wires and refit the column cover. If you want to clear the codes, disconnect the battery for 10 minutes. HTH

i no about the plugs under there, it s the 2 black you conect together, the 2 green is to reset, i wanted to know if there is anywhere a fault code reader will plug into at all, on obd 2 you can get full live data, not just fault codes, thats what im after doing if i can,

Not on an early Classic. Late Classics only for that and theyre OBD2.
