Hopping Mad!
I've got a V2 STI 555, with standard suspension which is in good condition. The problem is when I'm cornering hard in a slowish 2nd gear corner, there is a strange hopping motion coming from the rear suspension as I'm powering out.
Is it suspension related or is it just the suspension pushing the tyres hard and there releasing then gripping?
Any advice/help is greatly appreciated

You mean the rear of the car is slightly bouncing until grip, then ok ??

It grips and tracks well, then as you apply throttle to pull you around and out of the corner it seems to skip/hop slightly. Very strange, could it be the rear diff?, or is it just a stiff set-up on crap british roads as I had none of this at the Silverstone track day I did recently, and I was lapping quite respectively!

I found this when i changed the rear arb to the stiffest setting when on the track, the back seemed to skip rather than slide nicely when powering on, this was also in a 2nd gear corner.
Putting the arb back to the middle setting seemed to work nicer.
