Default Please Help.....

Hey Guys,
In limbo at the moment lads and would really appreciate any help ye could give me..
Was driving my 98 Type R yesterday and everything was going fine until my Check Engine light came on.Didnt notice anything unusual but the car wont rev over 4k revs. Its like it hits the limiter at it.
I have given the engine a good inspection and everything seems ok.
Has me worried at the moment lads so would just appreciate any help ye could give..
Thanks a lot,

Dara

Its probably in 'limp' now, restricting boost and revs. Search for CEL error codes, or perhaps someone else can link to the procedure for reading the codes and re-setting them. I dont spend a deal of time thinking about GC8s any more...
