Default Just got my new Blobeye STI

Im back in a scooby! i picked my new Blobeye STI up on saturday its a really nice example WR Blue 18" dark PFF7 alloys only 30,000miles full service history + cambelt

Has had lots work all done at (Greenwood racing developments)
-Prodrive sports cat downpipe
-provdrive second decat
-vortex centre section and rear box (going to change it to 3" system soon)
-uprated fuel pump
-Ecutek remap
-K&N panel filter
-rolling road figures 342.9hp a great resault

also had
-22mm adjustable anti roll bars front and back
-alloy rear drop links
-anti lift kit
-steering rack bushes
-4 wheel alignment

All of the above done 3 months ago! and done 3000miles since! the previous owner wanted a box fresh standard car and wanted low milage he owned the car for 3months after buying it from RRH subaru specialist in surry area and sold the car back to RRH thats when i was lucky enough to see it before the other 15 + people phoned for it i was told! so i snaped it up and im well pleased already brought a front splitter from HT autos in the group buy section just needs black flaps an 3 gauge pods and its perfect!

pics of it from the advert

Richard at RRH autos ltd was great id recomend them if your looking for a nice impreza with warranty included was very helpful and knows his stuff!

thanks look forward to shows soon and a few track days

thanks again for kind comments!

I don't mind saying what i paid it was up for £10,500 and i got it for £10,250 it was already a really good price imho as most for 10k mark had double the milage and alot less to offer so i very happy, taking into account the low miles and mods that has been done

what do you recon?

yeah he is very helpful and was kind enough to keep the car for 2 weeks while i sorting stuff out!! considering the interest he had on it,

going to give it a really nice clean fit the splitter and get some better pics up,

also a quick question will the 2.5" vortex backbox and centre cenction be ristricting the car? i would have thought a 3" along with the downpipe and decat that it has fitted would work better, Im not sure on the looks of the vortex anymore i had one on my last one, im liking the look of the japspeed system! and the great price of them

what do you think?

Overpriced imo, but still a nice motor Just had mine remapped by BRD, resulting with similar power ~ 330-335bhp. It's pretty swift now

In terms of book prices yes its over priced but on the real market and the amount of people looking for low milage mint examples it balances it up i lost out on a 53reg low milage 25kmiles but standard not even prodrive pack car it was up for £10995 it was on pistonheads (j performance) had the car and it didnt even touch the ground!! sold before he picked it up,i know its not a bargain but i wanted to spend a little extra to get a nice one,]

bet your enjoying it now after the remap!

I would not say this is over priced at all. May be if it was abused, but you can see it has been well looked after. You pay for what you get in this world and you got a decent looking car there.

That seems a good price to me, considering all the extras you got, there is always a big stigma with buying "tuned" cars, but if you can get hold of all the history and its from a place like Greenwood racing developments you can save yourself a lot a cash. Probably pay less than half of what the mods are worth.....

I had alot of whats been done in mind! + extras it handles so well with the GRD handling package, all i need to do is get a few other bits like flaps and gauge pods and its perfect in my eyes! the mods that have been done amount to just shy of 2k!

When you have had all of this done, JAYSTI8 probably paid an extra £500 for something that is now going to cost you over 2k making you car not the bargain it once was. Unless you want to keep you can standard?

2K? where did u pull that figure from, yer ****?

My car is identical to his bar the roll bars, drop links n antilift. Not 2K worth methinks

Sorry but after seeing what he paid I think I got a feckin bargain on mine. Mine was private though and you would expect to pay more from a dealer, right Rich?

LOL.... yeah when i was looking at some Dealers they where saying there where no secondhand cars about because people are hanging onto there old ones because they don't have the money at the moment to buy a new ones, this in turn was also pushing up the prices of the second hand cars that where available?
