Road Conditions update:

Reports from the pre-run indicate good snow conditions: most of the roads are well-covered in packed snow, with substantial snowbanks.

Several had loose powder on top, and one particularly open section in the Fraser Canyon was partly bare gravel with icy patches. Forecasts for the area suggest continued cold weather through the coming week.

Anyone would think i have a reputation for melting stuff.

REALLY looking forward to this w/end, still got a few minor jobs to complete but we will be there. Oh, i got a stinking cold too, not ideal for snow in Canada.

You guys (note the American accent already ) will be the first to hear of how it all goes. I am taking a digi camera with a huge memory card so theres no excuses for not getting some spectacular photos.

I may even get a few of Jamie and her new Impreza RS which is a great car (sounds great with her custom exhaust system) and looking more like the Subie Gal mobile by the day.

One more day and we head North . Wish us luck.
