I caught it half way through and thought agggh not an evo again they should have used a scoob for the chase, then it got blasted by 50cal so im glad it was the evo

A quick check on DVLA and ASKMID shows it as untaxed and uninsured, so I would hazard a guess that it was a write off and destined for the crusher anyway.

I haven't watched it yet, but apparently they sad in the show that the car was seized in relation to drug crime and was due to be crushed anyway.

Way to die

I thought it was a fantastic piece of journalism - drug dealer car that was already going to die, died in style, whilst at the same time supporting the army and aiding army recruitment.

I smelt the EVO's demise when Clarky was intentionally bouncing it off the rev limiter with a boyish grin and hooning it down a very rough dirt track on what looked like stock suspension.

I was thinking it was going to bottom out, split the sump and kill the engine. So it was nice to be proven wrong by it having its roof torn off by a Trojan

Brilliant!

Got to say that I thought it was a damn shame to see that happen to an Evo. I love my Scoob, but I have a soft spot for any Japanese performance car, so it was a shame to see it blown away. Should have got that fugly Porsche out there and done some "remodelling" on that...

Still, having said that, if the car was heading to the crusher, better it went out in a blaze of glory! (& .50 Cal.!) Good bit of advertisment for the Army as well.

I wonder if the Drug Dealer was allowed to watch his car get blown away?
