looking at buying a sportwagon -

got around 7.5 - 8k, so it'll either be a late 2.0 or an early, facelift 2.5...

could anyone out there tell me the pros and cons of the new versus old model... and also what kind of fuel economy i could expect? i've heard loads of horror stories about scoobs economy...

i do a lot of motorway work, drive (on private motorways) at 80-85mph...

any help would be much appreciated - it's only the worry about fuel that is holding me back to be honest...
