Default Forge BOV or HKS SSQV BOV?

I have the HKS on now and bought a recirc kit, which i have no idea what to do with. I want performance not bling. I still have a spare Forge one that's VTA. Which would be better performance wise?. Im worried the HKS opens too easily to give off more noise.

Dump valves make no difference to performance, just the sound your car makes

Not all SSQV's are adjustable, HKS did a second revision of the SSQV with no adjustment before they went to the current phase 2 design.

I think the problem that you are going to have with a VTA is that your car will stall at low revs as the gases are being released to the atmosphere and the reading the ECU gets is incorrect. This doesn't matter at high revs so the best of both worlds is a dual vent BOV.

Yeah i know that a bov wont make any difference to performance of car. I just dont have the bottle to go bov less. So with the 2 i have which is the better?. I will mess with the bolt at the back of the HKS and try the Forge out too. I have a classic turbo TD04 with about 80k on her. Is it really safe to blank it off and have no BOV?. Again i don't care about the noise just want everything to be running as good as it can and not have to buy a new turbo cause i killed my own. Apologies for length of post, i see this topic has been beaten to death.

The best thing you can do for performance is remove a BOV!
Either go for an uprated Forge recirc item or just run the OEM.
Rather than messing around with BOV's for performance, why not save your money and spend it on either handling mods, or something like headers, decat, injectors or a bigger turbo?

You'll probably gain more performance benefit from something like an uprated rear ARB and droplinks than you'll ever see from a BOV, plus it'll make you sound like a chav lol. Each to their own though pal - I quite like the BOV sound but I think it'd pi** me off after a few months and I don't want to risk any damage that might result from running it!

Cheers all.
A good lot of chipping in here, though its getting muddy : )
In my first post i mentioned i have a recirc kit for the HKS, i dont know what to do with it. Its just an add on for the thing a wee attachment to the vent out, for a tube to go somewhere? but where?.
My car is lightly modded running about 275 + handling, brakes etc to a reasonable level. Im old i dont care about looks sounds etc hell its a wagon!, just want everything working well. Both bov's i got with the car thrown in years ago. I have never thought about it, till i read here some suck and many take them off. I don't have the oem one, it was never there.
So im getting now... Go recirc if you must have a bov or better still bovless. If i do go without will my old td04 be ok?. This has prob been asked many times so sorry. Again thanks to all for commenting on this.
