As above ok for spares but do not let them loose on your engine. Cost me a fortune getting their cockups sorted else where. I would recomend Foresters in Bilston if local, alot better service and you know where you stand. No messing about like at Central. Or if you dont mind travelling a bit go to Zen Performance they know their stuff.

Glad you are sorted with API. David plays it with a straight bat.
A few years ago I was messed about by Central Subaru and would not go back to them for spares never mind working on a car.

I live in the next street to central Subaru, and I would rather drive the extra 45mins to API and get a proper job done.

Very sorry to resurrect an old thread, but i'd like to tell you a little story.....

Back in 2001 i wiped my 99 V plate classic Impreza into a lamp post (wet leaves) and took it to Central for a new front end..

Andy quoted 1500-2 grand for the repair (it was rather serious, front end was 'V' shaped, and the old concrete lamp post was laying in 3 pieces across the road )

After a few weeks i visited Central to assess the progress of my repair, and was pulled to one side by Ivan (Bodywork specialist employed by Andy)...... ''I can help you with a few bits'' he told me... ''I've got a few parts that i can sell you, Andy doesnt need to know about this etc etc''

Anyway the short story was, Ivan was in Andy's employ, but had a horde of stolen parts in his 'lock up' and was fleecing Central whilst in their employment, offering extremely cheap parts/services as a sideline...shortly after it all came to light and Ivan was dismissed.

Then Ivan started his own 'company' ''Foresters'' about 2 miles up the road... (I think he had a few quid from an Inheritance)...So before anybody really trusts Ivan Mann @ Foresters bear this in mind... During the repair of my 99 classic, he stole the 99 brakes off my car and replaced them with 94 wrx brakes, met me in Willenhall so i could give him £300 quid for ''unknown items'' (but he was saving me another £200 off the bill).. stuck a set of kerbed wrx alloys on the car (gold) one of them was buckled, i was driving it home wobbling like a motherf**ker... come the final bill it was still £1500 quid from Andy, so when i questioned it, thats when stuff came to light....

Ivan's a thief, i would not trust that man with a kiddies scooter. he knows who i am and is welcome to dispute any of these facts, either on the forum or to my face..
