The rear discs on my MY00 wagon never seem to get more than warm, even after heavy braking, is this normal?
Even after 20k+ miles the discs are still stained & never get"shiny"like the fronts
Could this be a brake balance problem or am i just getting paranoid?

any help please

The fronts do most of the braking, about 80% at a guess... Well that's what I was told when I upgraded my front discs.

The rears don't get much hammer...

Ahhhh yes. You're clearly not doing enough sideways handbrake slides through quiet suburban side streets! You'll just have to try a little harder now, won't you.

I've also noticed this 'staining' on my MY99...even though they do sometimes get too hot to touch.
