Default a few questions, (easy ones!)

how much oil would my 99 uk turbo hold is it 5L ?

also how much goes in the rear diff? and is it easy to change?

last one, would low oil level cause the oil light to come on for a second under hard braking?

thanks

Not sure

Imo. Empty by removing the drain plug and fill with oil back to the top.

May not be low just might need topping up

thanks

My 1995 takes about 4.5 litres to fill up (maybe a little more with spillage). Yours should be about the same. I believe you only need a litre of oil in the rear diff but I'm not 100% on that.

my oil was on the low mark on the dip stick, so maybe that explains the oil light.

is it usual for oil to vanish?!
