Default Type r engine question pls

As you know im on the look out for a type r. The question is would you prefer to buy one thats had an engine rebuid? My worry is they do seem prone to engine failure which concerns me. Cheers in advance.

Getting any impreza with a rebuilt engine is no big deal providing it was rebuilt by a reputable garage. I wish I'd bought a car with a rebuilt motor!

Good luck with your search.

Depends how many miles since rebuild. And look for a receipt to prove who did the work etc.
You WILL enjoy the Type R

Ive seen P1's with over 120k on the original engine, then ive seen ones with 60k on a rebuild, so which engine is the best?
Buy that one you want for 7.5k, you know you want it!
