Coming up to 3 years old with 46k on teh clock.

Seen the prices from Subaru on extending the warranty basically 1 yr capped at 60k £256 otherwise non capped mileage £388.

What are the opinions on whether it is worth it or not?.
What is covered?

Has anyone tried to claim under it and was told "Wear and Tear"

So far my extended dealer warranty has replaced:

1. blow off valve - the bottle blowing sound of it not shutting properly.

2. new short engine - piston slap

both well known problems of 97/98 scoobies.

I had no hassle claiming but I imagine it varies dealer to dealer.

probably saved me in excess of £3-4K (dealers prices)
