Hi guys and gals ive been pondering for a while now in getting a wrx or sti,is there anyhting i need to look out for(bad points) when shopping round...I have owned my vectra gsi for 5 years now and spent thousands on it,but really fancy a change now,so i will either sell or px my ride.its a show car and be featured in total vauxhall.

Most people will probably be out enjoying the weather
Anyway, what sort of model/year are you after? each one has something quirky about them, for instance the 99/00 cars suffered from weak (fragile) maf issues, new age STI's (excluding the latest hatch) suffered from rear spring issues, so lots of different things to say lol

I'm skint and have been fitting my new front speakers and watching BTCC on TV !

It's rear shocks that knock on new age Imprezas.

Usual problems, to avoid, smokey turbos, worn wheel bearings, knackered engines.

Just take your time to find a good 'un.
