Hi all,

will this fit a 2006 2.5 STI?

HI guys i have for sale a Ninja II exhaust backbox with removable bung in fantastic condition and a centre decat pipe not sure what make and its a little older and not as shiny.

I bought the bits to put on my wrx 300 but i have now decided so sell the impreza due to buying a vx220 turbo so ive never fitted the exhaust.

They are 2 & half inch pipework and fit directly onto original.

Looking for £175 for the pair. Anyone fancy them befor ebay?

Pics don't work fella.

Also, the Wrx300 was a Bug/Blobeye wasn't it, so 2001-2005 on this.

I would assume being a Hawkeye, it won't fit.

Thats just a hunch, but a newage owner should be able to clarify mate

Going by what Scoobyworld say, no it won't fit as it seems the 2006-2007 Hawkeye model has a different exhaust to the 2001-2005 models.

I could draw a picture if you like

it should fit as all newage are the same (at least the centre and backbox anyway), but i would say that unless the ninja 2 back box has a adjustable rear hanger that is for a classic scoob as the hanger is the wrong way.

scratch that being for a classic, i think it looks the wrong way due to the way the pipework bends but will line up correctly.

I thought that Azz, but then when seeing Scoobyworld list seperate variations of the same system for the model years, make me think they must be different from 2001 and 2006

yeah i think they do that because of maybe the downpipe is different pre 2006 on the newage(not 100% though).

I know of a hawkeye with a classic Backbox on and i have a classic back box on my 05 too, so there at least the same fitting.

I know a lot is to do with the hangers being on different sides, but still knowhere nearer to the answer, especially if the downpipe is different. that would **** up the chances of the full catback fitting.


To the OP, ring a tuner up on Monday, or pm one on here, they'll definitely know, unless someone has first hand experience on your particular car mate.

Looks like I could be stuffed then as the guy has other offers. Don't blame him. I guess with my far the onlyvsafe bet is new system or off the exact same car

I have the ninja ll on my hawkeye! looking at the pic its the same!

also got the 2nd decat pipe fitted too

I just had another look at scoobyworld and if you choose a Ninja II box and go to the bottom of the page, there is a drop down and only "Classic Impreza" and "Newage Impreza" and no matter which on the first page you choose,

Impreza Turbo 1993-2000 Classic
Impreza Turbo 2001-2005 New Age
Impreza Turbo 2006-2007

It only ever gives you a drop down menu off Classic and new age so from that, it looks like the new age and 2006 - 2007 are the same?
Also, the center section on New age and 2006 - 2007 both have "New Age as the only wording so I guess these are the same too?

it will fit mate it was only the hanger i was worried about, but when i had a look on mine i realised the pipework was different so it only looked wrong.

Maybe so then mate. If you had any more lingering concerns, I'd call Neil @ Scoobyworld in the morning if the zorst is still available then. But from what you've found and Arron's said, go for it. Lovely system

Yeah I have bought it, worse case I line it up before I take my old one off, if it doesnt fit, re-sell it on here lol
