I have recently brought a 1993 imported wrx, am really impressed with it as a car but as i want to modify it i am thinking maybe i should get a newer model as it will last me longer and the modifying process would be more wothwhile, I would appreciate some feedback as to whether people think i should modify what i have got or get a newer model and modify that?

If you can get a newer model do it! A 98 on WRX I belive will have 280bhp and is a good base for mods, on any Scoob a downpipe such as a scoobysport one will help the turbo spin up quicker mate it to a free flowing exhaust and you may get an extra 15hp. Be warned once you start with mods it gets adictive!
