Hi Guys

As per another thread I'm currently looking at getting an 08 STI and am just wondering if they have a burble as standard, for my 06 WRX I had to fit a prodrive backbox and deresonated centre section to release it and wondered what the score was with the hatch?

Same with the hatch. If it's a UK model at least. Don't listen to those on here who think the burble is gone because of equal length manifolds. They have unequal length manifolds still, just a lot of restriction in terms of noise in the exhaust.

No noise on the standard exhaust system unfortunatly

a deresonated centre and prodrive backbox will see the burble return.

but you would be very lucky to get a prodrive backbox without buying the full ppp kit.

I fitted a full decat & deresonated H&S exhaust system to mine, what a sound lol

H&S or Milltek

H&S looks more focused with twin back boxes rather than the single resonator and quad outlets like the Milltek.

Ive got the Revolution exhaust. 3' from the downpipe back. Sounds great, not overly loud but defo got the scooby rumble. Loud tho when giving it some!
