hello, is there a limp mode on the early sti classic 93-96

yes.. one drops the boost and the more serious limp mode will restrict rpm to 4500rpm

what causes the one that drops the boost as this happened to mine the other day, it went from just over 1bar to 0.5bar, and did it again just after it was ok the next day, the only thing i can think of it was very hot on the day it did it.

det.. or sticking boost solenoid.. no CEL?
