Default Courtesy Cars, What were you given?

Dealers gave me this while my scoob is having work done. Cant make up my mind if i like it or not! Has good points and bad.
The good, i'm not a taxi service anymore as the kids wont get in it The amount of space inside is unreal, 40 mpg.
The bad, slow, very slow, very very slow.
It's better than the old claptout justy they use to give me.
So what were you given and did it make you want to buy one?

thats a million times better than what I got last time I went to my local dealers.....

I got an antique subaru legacy saloon in red and faded red on some panels, spec also included a nice brown/tweed interior complete with musty smell, odd wheels and locks that didn't work properly.

I can safely say it did not make me want one

yes my scoob dealer is using these too, don't know why but the japs have always had a 'different' take on car design

can't see myself getting one

Those all sound great in comparison to an antique VW polo estate(faded Blue1987 i think?) i was offered as all there cars were out apparently. Car was a week old & some merc driver reversed hard into front of my parked car. They claimed they never saw it when they parked up & returned to leave even though i was standing outside my house talking to friends & saw the whole thing.

Skoda Fabia was a favorite of Sparshatts, The bodyshop gave me a fiesta 'style'. Best was The now bankrupt Subaru Dealership in Lancing that gave me a brand new H6 Legacy Estate with the tiptronic gearbox.

never taken my car to Subaru direct for anything that would mean me having a courtesy car (dealers to expensive )

but in the past i've had alfa 147, alfa 156, micra, pug 206, rover 200

the alfa 156 was the 1.9jtd multijet, absolutely lovely car

We had a brand new mercedes benz c class 220 cdi elegance (estate) when some noob wrote the wifes old audi off.

We had it for just over 4 weeks before they settled on our audi..... £1300 , must have cost more in rental than the audi was worth.

we "upgraded" to this in memphis, had to take the first one back as all the electric windows stayed down when we got back to the hotel, the replacement was not much better. loads of silly glitches and the power was ridiculous.

That is one sweet looking car!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When my 335d went into the bodyshop this was my courtesy car........

Audi S5.
Ate fuel for fun (maybe a little heavy with the right foot but hey its a rental!) Drove round for 30min burning the fuel off before returning it to bodyshop to find out they'd sprayed the bumper the wrong shade of black!
Back to Shell for me and an Audi for another week!
