FAO John Felstead - Help with Spec C Suspension!!!!
Hi,
I way told you were the man that knows about suspension.
I have a question for you.
I have a 2002 Bugeye STI on standard struts and eibach springs lowering the car 25mm to 35mm.
The suspension is starting to knock when going over bumps at low speed.
I have been offered a set of really low mileage 2004 Spec C suspension with part number 20360FE840 with standard springs.
Will this fit my bugeye ok, the guy said it is coming off the last of the 2004 model car but 2005 registered but hubs are 100 pcd so the same?
Will it higher the ride height as dont want that?
Do you know the spring rates and if it will be a harder ride with better handling which i dont mind too much?
If John doesnt know would anyone else be able to answer as i know others will read the post lol??
Thanks in advance.

Spec C's sit 10mm lower than their equivelent STI brother so your car will be lower than the standard STI, it will also be harder!
Your car is 100pcd, the 2005 onwards are 114.5pcd.

Are the blobeyes not heavier though and when they go on my car will raise the height even more?
Do you know the spring rates of the spec c, standard sti and eibach springs?

These come with Eibach springs and are designed to take some stick as the car is the motorsport version 10mm lower overall (or 20mm higher than your is now), I doubt you will see any more of a drop than that, its only 110kg difference so less than 30kg per corner
