Default WonderWheels alloy cleaner - usable on Gold Alloys?

iv got 18" gold mygale alloys but that is where my technical knowledge ends!.

On the Wheel Cleaner packaging it says: not suitable for un-lacquered? Can anyone explain and advise me further please?

As said this stuff is a mild acid and will get into the area around the nuts or breaks in the paint and lacquer and lift it off.

Not a good idea, I use liquid soda crystals, £1.99 for 250 ml and it's very kind to the wheels.

hard to explain but stay away from wonder wheels it is as mentioned very acidic, best bet is some ph neutral type cleaner like Autosmart Smart Wheels, Zymol do a good wheel cleaner & also megs wheel brightener or Bilberry wheel cleaner (try Clean Your Car - car care products UK)

Wonder wheels is dilute concrete acid and can ruin alloy wheels. I learned the hard way years ago when it ruined the alloys on my Beemer

Personally mate I'd go for Bilberry Wheel Cleaner

I'm going to get a bottle of this as my near full bottle of Megs Wheel Brightner leaked out in my shed!
