Default What power do you think these mods give this car?

He says about 340bhp?? i thought with the mods mentioned it would be a lot more than that.

can anyone inform me what kinda bhp that might be running?

Subaru : High Specs WRX FSH Private plate Price Reduced

(also, is it a known members car?)

Sounds about right - STi 8 turbo which is a VF34/35 depending on origin. STi intercooler/injectors and sports cat.

VF34/35 power is between 320-360bhp imo so yes 340ish is spot on

Yes - to get more power you are looking at a bigger turbo at least?

Other car looks good, but the bump bit would worry me unless you had it professionally inspected.

cheers guys.

my head is banging between these 2 and this one - 2003 SUBARU IMPREZA WRX-STI TYPE UK BLUE NO SWAP!!!!! on eBay, also, Subaru, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 29-May-09 16:18:09 BST)

the black one was just where it was reversed into a post in the car park - had it all check out with a proper in-depth hpi.

dont know which one to go for

The ebay one looks ok, but doesn't mention a remap? If he can prove 350 then I suppose it must have been. 95k though?

I'd go for the black one - a lot less miles, better colour (imo) and doesn't look so chavvy.

Oh, and as above I would defo go for an STi rather than a WRX if given the choice.

ok thanx mate - so the extra £2k is worthwhile for an STi over a WRX from the cars listed above?

i slightly prefer the blue one, i think, but as you said 95k is a lotta miles plus whatever i put on it before i try to sell again....

...hmmmm what to do!

Yes from my own experience of trying to sell mine a while ago (108k). Anything over 100k and people walk away - buyers market at the mo.

2k more is worth it I would say - especially as the WRX is a bug-eye which a lot of people don't like.

true, very true.

so its between the blue and the black STi - i know what u mean about the mileage...however Scoobyclinic said its been well looked after - i just think over 100k is gonna be a mare to shift later on.

Personly id go for the blue and i did as i love the colour plus iy looks really nice.

The miles are high like but if well looked after should be ok (don't forget cambelt due every 50,000)

Without actually looking at the ads, STi is easily worth 2k more than non-STi, like-for-like.

Looks very much like a saloon to me, not a hatch/wagon

Posted one from the autotrader on your other thread its an MY05 car so has some nice improvements over those (and only 39k fsh + PPP & DCCD) and a good price rather than the pee take of some of those.

Don't get sold on a car before you have seen it. You may need to see quite a few before you come across a decent one, especially if you are looking at lower price brackets.
