Default Type R Advice.

Ok I've recently purchased and had the bottom end rebuilt on a Subaru Type R (97).

As part of the rebuilt uprated parts were used to make it stronger, the oil pump uprated, stainless steel headers and decat downpipe were also fitted whilst it was apart.

Now I am currently running in the engine but keeping it under 4000 revs for the first 600 miles and then the oil will be changed.

Now my question is do I have to get the car remapped? If so what is the best route to take?

I really want to look after this car so would appreciate advise by people who know what they are talking about rather than people who think they do lol

Thanks.
