bugeye gx - will a turbo exhaust fit? Help please..

Default bugeye gx - will a turbo exhaust fit? Help please..

Hi, i have a 51' bugeye gx non turbo 2.0, and i'm going to fit a big bore exhaust on as im going to make it a turbo replica, and i was wondering if i can fit a bugeye turbo exhaust onto my non turbo? if not does anyone know where i can get a exhaust to fit a gx model.. im not botherd about just a backbox or even a full system..

Hello mate I used to have the same model and I fitted a racebox system from scoobyworld which I think was the same fitment as a turbo quite reasonably priced now as well Welcome to Scooby world have a look mate

It does just that, one end mates up to the existing pipe and the other to the turbo back box. I think it removed 1 cat though. I took mine to Nationwide Auto center to get it fitted and they said it was a bit of a job but it's on. It won't sound like a turbo though, you need an unequal-length manifold to release the burble.

does powerflow do un-equal manifolds as i have a 1999 facelift 2.0 sport white colour sounds so awesome already i just wanted the extra burble i already have a full powerflow S/S.

nice one mate, i'll probs get that if my idea dusn't work lol

does anyone on here know what the stander exhaust backbox inlet for a 2.0gx bugeye is?
