Default Suggested power upgrade??

I've got a STI V2 '555', it's got a cat back HKS 3" stainless steel exhaust, Apexi induction kit, Bailey dump valve and soon to be added a Walbro fuel pump. What would be a safe but noticeable power upgrade with a re-map?.
I really don't want to be stressing the engine too much as I can't afford a re-build!. The engine has done approx 48,000 miles and gets the oil changed every 3000 miles and I always warm the car thoroughly before spirited driving and use my turbo timer to cool down if I can't take it easy before switching off.

And any recommendations for a re-map in the South London/Kent area??.

Thanks for your help guys!!!

The 2 main problems with the early STi's were the intercooler and the ecu.
The standard intercooler is limited to 310 bhp and so fitting a front mount is the only option, but there not a straight forward fit, you will need to get a small part of the pipework extended to fit onto the inlet manifold.
Also the standard ecu is not remappable so your gonna have to get an aftermarket ecu, such as an Apexi Power FC or a Simtek, and then get it remapped.

Personally I wouldnt do anymore mods to your car, even a walbro fuel pump, until you get an new ecu to get it all mapped correctly.

How did it fit?, whats the performance difference like and are generic chips safe compared to a custom map?.

I'm new to forced induction and Subaru's and am getting confused what to do

your ecu will have a code on top a lot of earley sti are 6k or 7k

heres whats in some of polars info page

The 27C1028 is the simple and most cost effective upgrade for those with standard or mild modifications to their vehicle. This solution was used by Subaru and Prodrive to add Group'N' and Prodrive Performance Packs to a Standard Road Car. The chip plugs into a spare location within the 1993 - 1996 ECU and emulates the standard ECU operation. The performance maps within this code are then modified. It unlocks greater performance with modifications made to fuel/ignition maps, boost target map, boost control map, boost limit values and speed limit values. Expected Performance increase is 30-50BHP depending on supporting modifications.

heres my ecu
