Assuming the the car is mapped for 1.5 bar plus, maybe it's pulled boost due to excessive knock? Also are you sure that the gauge isn't faulty?

what do you mean by excessive knock? I wouldnt say the gauge was faulty but ill look in to that. Could it be a hose split ?

More than likely... check the t-piece too, the plastic ones fail when they get hot.
"Knock" can be caused when the engine doesn't have enough fuel for the mixture (amongst other things) and the ignition of the mixture happens too early and very violently. It can sometimes be heard, but even when it's not it can be very destructive to an engine. Most ECUs have knock protection, where the ECU listens for this type of pre-ignition through a sensor and retards ignition timing and decreases boost when it experiences it (to prevent engine damage). I don't know if this explanation is 100% accurate, but you get the idea...
Also, if here is a "whooshing" sound when on boost, you could have an air leak between the turbo and inlet manifold. A good place to look is where the plastic pipe joins the underside of the intercooler (mine has leaked from here before).
