TBH when I had my 03WRX Wagon set up to the prodrive geometry at Demon Tweeks it felt quite twitchy, I wished I had stuck with the standard setting. This was with prodrive springs. I was told it would cause excessive tyre wear but I didnt have the car long enough to find out.

I had an 02STI, and ran it for quite a few miles on both standards and then Prodrive settings.
The difference was very noticeable when powering hard through corners. The standard settings can feel like it wants to just plough straight on. With the Prodrive settings, most of this goes away, it feels much more balanced near the limits.
Don't get me wrong, the car can still under-steer, just nowhere near as much.
I did not notice any unusual tyre wear as a result of the setup change. It was Win, Win al round for me.
That, and changing the awful RE040 tyres for Goodyear GSD3 tyres were the best changes I made to the car.

Yes, everything was standard, I did not have Prodrive springs.
I changed the rear droplinks later from the plastics to Alloy ones. This made the suspension much harder, if you can imagine that!!
It was good though. Another £70 well spent I thought.

Well, took the car to my local ATS for the 4w laser alignment, i had used these guys before when i 1st bought my car, 1 coz a few of em had subarus & they had told me that they know how 2 check & adjust as they do it 2 their own car. & secondly i had a bit of outside edge tye wear & after they had done it it had gone away,, anyway
After about 40mins of adjustin & checkin the car woz done, i must say IMHO i could feel a difference not because i want it 2 feel different but bcoz i did, the pullin 2 the left or tramlining had all but disapperead, it felt firmer on the road, more feel though the steerin when, high speed (70mph)
felt more stable & rouderbouts & corners, TBH it felt like a totally dif car.
i opted for the prodrive setting, which the ats guys already had & they even said 4 me 2 take it back in a week and they will double check..cost for this woz £45....
