Default Newbie first post

Hi All, I have just bought my first Subaru ( will be picking it up next week )
I went for the WRX STI. I have always liked them and decided to take the plunge. the car is new and is the standard 300bhp version, I will be speaking to the dealer on monday about fitting the prodrive kit to take it to 330bhp. is this the best upgrade option or are there after market upgrades that may be better cheaper etc. this is probably silly question but I am completely new to these cars, any advice gladly received,

Welcome to S/N Matey and IMHO I would go for a proper remap not PPP and would get the mods you may want 1st!

Welcome!
I take it this is a brand new WRX STI type UK?
If so, go for the PPP kit, its about 340bhp if you have the car remapped that will invalidate your warranty, so go PPP until your warranty is up, then if you want more power, get her remapped again

Hi Tony, yes car is brand new, I dont want to invalidate the warrenty so the ppp option sounds the way to go, it seems very reasonable £1600 for 30+ bhp and the extra torque.
