wheels and ride height ?

Default wheels and ride height ?

ive just fitted a set of 17" rims om my 93 classic and now find the ride height is to low and the rear tyres are touching the arch even without load , i dont no the how short the springs are that are on there as i bought them as just lowered ride height.
can anyone tell me a spring hieght that i can you use for 17's running 225x45 tyres please

215/40 are a better size for a classic.

Hi mate i think the correct tyre size for the classic running 17s is either 205/45/17 or 215/40/17 never known anyone have problems with 17s rubbing do you know if there the correct offset wheel?

i run 215/40 on a classic that is around 20mm lower than standard with no issues.......
