Default question on model type

May sound silly! - just getting insurance quotes for an impreza turbo.

I understand wrx & wrx sti but is there simply an 'Impreza Turbo'?

The insurance company seems to be a little confused as it is listing known wrx's as 'impreza turbos'.

Ah, makes sense that the insurers are offering higher premiums on wrx's. I thought imports wear square plates?

I would suggest speaking to an insurance company that actually knows such as Keith Michaels, speak to a guy on here called Moley WRX (Gary Moulson)
As for the plates ,no, mine has standard UK size plates on it
