hi guys what is meant by turbo spooling.is it the noise it makes

It means how quick the turbo comes on boost. A quick spooling turbo is on full boost by say 3000rpm and a slow spooling turbo is on full boost by say 4500rpm. <Figures were made up for test purposes>

its a whole new experience for me.theres lots of hissing and spinning noises comin from my engine compared to my regular ford focus but its great.

get in my car and my missus gives me ear ache on how the wastgate hits off the bodywork, the wastgate chatter and general other noises

o yeah.

hissing is the air being forced through rather than sucked through on a NA focus for example. the spinning noise is great, then a nice hiss on lift off from the std recirc. Lovin it.

Seems alot of scoob owners come from ford or peugeot. I myself come from both

mines got a bailey blow of valve. my engine hisses if i drive normally then when the boot goes down and off again the valve dumps my kids love it.
