Default Which courier can I send a bonnet with!?

As above, tried DHL but they turned up and refused to take it saying it was on their prohibited list

Who can I use?

Thumbs up

TBH DHL are strictly speaking a carrier, not a courier, speak to a courier company. The package with a carrier will head off to a local depot and then be redistributed and re-handled several times so some risk of damage to items like a bonnet. A carrier will likely load it, drive it and deliver it.

If it was me i would build a wooden box slightly bigger than the bonnet for it, line it with a blanket, bubble wrap the bonnet and do it that way via a courier. If going a long way then this will not be cheap but more reliable.

Also get pics of it just prior to loading

I went and picked mine up in a volvo 940, fitted a treat.

Whoever you choose, tick insurance !!! I doubt it will get there unscathed, APi only sell these at buyers risk IIRC due to too many bent ones.

All couriers manage to damage bonnets in our experience. We have never sent one successfully anywhere.

We recently had one collected by a rally team in Luxembourg who maintained that their couriers were the best and they would collect and not damage it.

When l asked if it arrived unbent they said " No!, but we managed to repair it it was not too bad."

i just bought a bootlid, stressed thru 4 emails to pad it with cardboard then wrap it,cool was the replies several times.

when it arrived, dinged on 2 edges where NO cardboard had been used,so it wasnt the couriers fault this time, so im gutted !! no damage to it otherwise

if u do send it,amke sure its protected and you`ll be alright
