Subaru Impreza WRX STi NEW AGE Exhaust System Downpipe on eBay, also, Subaru, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 02-May-09 17:35:27 BST)

Question 1: will it fit my 05 plate WRX
Question 2: im worried about sensors (lambda) is there a place for it to go?
Question 3: will it just bolt off.... bolt on? anything else i have to take into consideration??

If you decat you will need to remap your car to enjoy the benefits. Also the exhaust has flexible joints. Over time these will deteriorate. As you will have no cat your CEL will be on too. If you want the burble, buy a used back box and save for a better quality system. Do you know how it sounds? Best of luck

As above, those systems are cheap for a reason. I'd save up and get a decent quality system with gasket fitments and not the flexible joints. The heat over time corrodes them, well from my experiences of Peugeot exhausts anywho.

Oh, also you'll need a remap afterwards on a newage or the CEL will stay on. Something to do with the electrics in comparison to a classic.

Think that makes sense

Just to clarify:

CEL = Check Engine Light

Do a search as there are ways around this IIRC that do not require a remap – as stated though, a remap is required to make the most of the decat

As above Ash, the flexi's are sh1te and wont last 6 months. Cheap is not cheerful in the tuning world. Theres a guy in notts doing full turbo back miltek-scorpion de-cats for around 425.

Sorry but with 1 of my older "New" age cars I had a simeler exhaust and was fine "After" the remap!

But cheap is cheap at the end of the day but still works and does the same job long as it's done right!
