Is P1 Prodrive back box anygood. I'm doing a s/s headers and decat etc.. on my P1. It has a Prodrive P1 back box on at the moment, it has a lovely sound to it and ive been told its based on group N box. But is it good for performance wise.

have one on mine mate, depending on what your end goal is will be the decider fi it has to go or not. i was told it is restricrive but for me a wil keep it until i have decided if to sell the car on and get somethiung newer or drop a 2.5 and a 321t+ in as i will need a full 3" system at that point

See this is the thing, i'll be having a remap etc once my fully forged CDB is run in, so any restriction is a no-go

what power are you looking to end up with mate as i as far as i am aware they are a lot better than the std sti box but not as free flowing as a h&S or a tsl grp n which are similar size exits if you do not want a big exit pipe. they are the two that i was advised to replace it with but a 3" verison. if youar estill running a 2.5" that may restrict it as well mate so you ay want to think of a full 3" to get the most out of your build as ii think anything after 350-370bhp it may hekp to go 3" but i may be wrong

regards
