I will answer the my own question
easy -- and you don't need to remove the main cooling rad -- take off the top bolts and it will rock backwards allowing you to remove the aircon rad, with a bit of a wiggle
you need to remove the grill (see the FMIC sticky) and the top bolts holding the rad in place, the water pipes can be moved gwntly out of the way (cable ties are always good for this
anyway pretty easy, 1 hour tops
