Depends what you want to spend. PLEASE CHECK GOVERMENT GUIDELINES, BUT I'M SURE ITS MINIMUM EITHER 9 MONTHS OR 9KGS+ FOR A FORWARD FACING SEAT. Go to a retailer and ask to try some in there, the likes of mothercare and halfords both quite helpful. Then go online and order from elsewhere cheaper! I've got two Recaros in the back of the classic saloon. Both different forward facing, one for 9 months - 4 years, and another for 9 months - 12 years, and they both fit the contours of the seats well.

Hi, my little girl is 8 months old and in a maxi cosi tobi, fits in realy well n has a cut out in the upper rear part which sits nicely around the integrated rear headrests. Like Proby521 says its about 20 lbs when they can go in a forward facing, my little girl was in hers from about 18 lb, hope this helps, the seat is about £160.00 from mothercare.
