Default REG NUMBERS.......HELP NEEDED

can any one help .i know the reg number of a car but i wish to find the present keeper.can i find this out anyway.thanks.would the police do a check for me or ,not..anyone got any ideas.

Many years ago i had a non fault accident with the driver buggering off. Luckily i got the reg no. and went to the local police station - they gave me the details of the registered owner.

Not sure nowadays but worth a punt.

Actually this information is easier to get hold of than you would think. If you write to the DVLA giving a legitimate reason why you need to know then they may help.

If for example it is for a parking fine or similar than it will cost you £3.50 from the DVLA
