Default Performance Box

Hello.

I'm considering getting one of these
PerformanceBox - Datalogger and Performance Meter

I like the idea of messing about calculating power output's incremental acceleration and traceing routes on google earth etc.

I don't know if someone has suggested this before, but it could also be good to build a community with people collecting data for their cars with different mods etc, so we can see what difference they make over the current spec of our cars.

That would require a lot of people buying, so i thought group buy, although there is another (possibly naive) option, we could all chip in to buy one or two and then post them round until many people have collected the data and use scooby net as the repository.

What do you think, maybe i'm dreaming on this one?

Would be intersting to see how accurate the BHP reading is compered to a rolling road.

If it was accurate I would be tempted to get one, bit expensive though.
